Freqflyer, Yes, the Wayne Manor on 23, very popular for weddings and banquets. Whenever I drive down there I am amazed by how different it is. Do you remember MacDonald's beach? I spent my teenage summers there, so many happy memories. We lived near Laguna beach, that became Mothers Pub, I saw some great bands play there. Nagels Candy Barn, Bradlees, Wayne Hills Mall, Willowbrook and West Belt Mall, Bradlees is gone. That store was like the first WalMart, lol.
Susan, oh my gosh, Nagels Candy Barn, I remember that place from the 1980's, red building, wooden floors, a bit dark inside, realllllllly good chocolate candy :) On route 23, and across the street was a wedding reception hall?
I grew up in Wayne, next to Pompton plains. I still have friends in the area. I live about a half hour north of Wayne now. It was a great town to live in. When I was a kid, route 23 was 2 lanes, no overpass, and there were not nearly as many shopping centers. The 23 shop & Nagels candy Barn have been in business since I was a child, over 40 years!
Oh yayyy! This is great! What are your experiences with your caregiving of a loved one? Did any of you have a parent/loved one apply for NJ Medicaid and if so, what were the results?
P.S. I just noticed on your profile you didn't fill out the profile sheet where it asks where you live. Chances are you won't get any matches using what I had suggested above :(

I remember MacDonalds Beach very well. I was a lifeguard there the summer of 1960. Many many great memories from that summer.
