Very sorry for your loss. Sorry this incident happened.
Sadly, this has happened with others and unfortunately will continue to happen again due to addiction.
I am not sure anything can be done after your mom’s death.

Well, that's over. Nothing to be done about that. So time just to move on with your life. So sorry this happened, and sadly it is not terribly unusual.
