Does the government allot money to help the elderly pay for expenses for having hair done in nursing home?

Everywhere I've known, hair care has come out of personal funds. However, Medicaid may pay for some of that care in nursing homes. You would need to check locally with the state you are interested in.

It's been several years since my grandma was in a nursing home. She was responsible for her own hair care. Every couple of months, I "treated" her to a perm. I hope it brought her as much happiness as it did me because it was such an honor to do it for her.
