Can I transfer guardianship of my father to the nursing home?

I don't believe you can give guardianship to a nursing home since it's a business. It would be a conflict of interest for them, or their staff to act as guardian for a resident/patient. If you no longer wish to be your dad's guardian and needs one, contact your local area agency on aging and see if they can offer some assistance.
