My husband has taken statins since 1997 and I think it has messed up his brain. Anyone else with similar experiences?

The biggest problems for elders is "polypharmacy" especially if the patient has more than one doctor writing prescriptions. Don't ask for more pills, ask for less. At every visit ask if every Rx is necessary. You'll be glad you did.

don't know that statins cause dementia, but benzodiazaphines do. Drugs such as xanax and the like.
