Foaltrainer, I need to ask how do *you* know that this couple is cleaning out the elderly neighbor's bank accounts? What kind of proof do you have since you mentioned the neighbor doesn't realize this is happening, thus he's not telling you? Who is telling you or is this hearsay?

What types of items are the couple removing from the house? Were the items being offered by the elderly neighbor to this couple?

What are the health issues with the elderly neighbor? Does he have memory issues? Some times with memory issues patients can make up stories. Let's hope this is the case as you don't want an innocent person to be questioned by authority.

Adult protective services would be your best option. But do it quick. Does the neighbor have any family? Good luck and good for you for watching out for him.

I would also call Adult Protective Services.

Calling the police would be the best thing. This isn't an emergency, so call them at their office or drop by to talk to them, instead of calling 911.

Yes there is help. Call 911. They are real good at this.
