Last night he woke up and was upset with me. He asked me to please stop putting my finger in his nose. I said I didn't do any such thing. He yelled YES YOU DID. This morning he woke up and said, I have a question... Yes I said. He asked me it I thought it was unusual for him to be able to put his arm through the mattress? I asked him to demonstrate. He rolled over toward the edge of the bed. I watched. I checked under the mattress to see if thee was a hole that he might have caught his arm in. No hole. These Hallucinations are so funny.. I know it is probably not nice to laugh and I am certainly not laughing so he can see or hear me. I just am laughing inside. This is so real to him. Has anyone had this happen? He is off his meds right now due to a rash. So, it cannot be the drugs.. He also has a terrible headache now for two days. What could that be?

When I volunteered at the memory care unit while my brother in law was in there, I met so many FUNNY people. they kept me laughing all the time. I could write a short Laugh book on things people say when they have Alzheimer and dementia. Of course, I am very fortunate to have a good humored man. It probably would not be funny if he was nasty. I am very blessed
