Had to get my wife's name on her grandfathers trust.
Her mother is a was all her grandfathers trust. She passed away two by wife is executor of her mother's estate grandfather had a trust. Her name and to be put on the trust can you help?
Timberjack, I've read your post several times but am just unable to determine what the situation is and/or what you're really asking.
No one can "get" anyone's name on a trust except the Settlor, the person who creates and executes the trust.
Why do you want to have your mother named in GF's trust? Do you want her to be a successor Trustee or a beneficiary? Is there a pour-over will naming her as a beneficiary?
What does Grandfather have to say about this? He's the only one who can change the Trust, and it's HIS decision.
