Hospice time? Caregiver Company wants to check out Hubby who has dementia to see if he needs to go on Hospice. I'm not speaking of Palliative or Respite Care. We are on those right now.
There is no harm that I can think of to having this evaluation. I imagine the conclusion will either be to continue palliative care or progress to hospice. It will be good to have a professional opinion, right?
How long has he been on palliative care? Sometimes these things have to go through a renewal process. He does not sound anywhere near Hospice level if he is still walking around.

And right, jeannegibbs, no harm to get another professional opinion.
