He is accusing people of stealing items that he cannot find.

He is 95 years old and I think he is getting dementia. He cannot remember where he puts stuff and then accuses people of stealing it that has not even been in the house. He gets hostile.

My dad is in mid stage dementia and he has just started doing this. He says someone broke into the house at night and stole his coffee cup, food, ect. He doesn't get hostile but does get very agitated. His doctor increased the anxiety medication last week and we hope this helps. Have your dad checked for dementia/altzheimer and discuss his hostility with the doctor.
