About 4 years ago, she was diagnosed with Dementia and then Alzheimer's. It was very aggressive and she faded fast. Around July, she was placed into hospital, could only eat liquid food (apple sauce) and was placed in a bed. She couldn't talk at all or feed herself. Then in October she was released back into a nursing home and is eating on her own and walking with a walker. They took her off of two of her meds she was on. It seems like she is getting better, and I know I shouldn't get my hopes up. Has anyone else had this experience?

At times, my cousin is not able to stand up, even for a few seconds. It's like her legs are jelly. Other times, she is able to stand up and make a step or two. It just depends.
