How can I get an increase in mom's Aid and Attendance?

My mom is receiving aid and attendance of $1,153. She has dementia and her level of care has increased. She needs more assistance now. So, the price has increased. How can I ask aid and attendance for more funds? I pay 100 a day, now went up 120 a dayfor 24/7 care.

It looks like your Mom is getting the maximum for 2017 of Aid & Attendance.
Surviving spouse / death pension
Basic Pension Income Limit is $8,656*
Housebound Income Limit is $10,580
Aid & Attendance Income Limit is $13,836.
Divided by 12, $13,836 is $1,153 per month. Have you checked into Medicaid? Unfortunately the VA is limited by Congress and laws they have passed on the amount of aid & attendance pensions that they can pay veterans and their spouses.
