We were just denied Medicaid due to a CD in dad's brother and mom's name. What can we do?
Mom they say has 35000 too much?

I got the help of an elder care attorney who helped me apply for and receive help from Medicaid and VA survivors pension for Aid & Attendance. Check out their advice, and best wishes!

It will need to be cashed probably. Half going to Mom. CDs are not getting much interest so the penalty will be small.

Only answer to that is to change it or cash it out...
Truthfully tho, u can ask them what you should do.. My social worker gives me advice
