Is anyone familiar with rooster comb shots? My 83 y/o mother was getting them for her sore knee.

I knew someone that had them for knee pain. They helped him plenty.

I had a series of 3 a year ago for knee pain. IMO they work. I don’t have the same pain (not as bad as prior to the injections).
I think those injections are worth a try.

Well yes, the clarity is needed. Otherwise what? Chasing the rooster down, slicing the comb off and putting them in the cuisinart?
Also known as a viscosupplement.
The visual was bothering me, lol.

Just a point of clarity here. These are actually hyaluronic acid injections. And that is a bona fide treatment. Otherwise, sounds kinda woo-ish.

My dad had a series of them for his knee. They helped for a time. He did ultimately have knee replacement in his late seventies
