I need as much information on dementia as I can get. Help!!!
HELP!!!!! I need as much information I can obtain with educating myself on this disorder. How many levels is it (if its any); are there meds that can assist, etc. HELP!!!!!
Hi Stephhelp, Look closely at your loved one’s diagnosis, as there are so many different types of Dementia. On this website, that we we are on now, AgingCare.com, go to letter category D for dementia and select articles by Professionals, and many questions and answers about all aspects of dementia, like stages, behavior, medications, etc etc. You can find tremendous, valuable information. Learning is powerful! Good luck!
My mother is taking Aricept for it. It can't cure it but it is meant to slow down the process. People here may give a number for stages. Her doctor prefers to use categories such as mild, moderate etc. If you are able to you can search online for more information. A doctor who deals with the elderly is helpful.
