My husband had Laser for enlarged prostrate. He was put under. From beginning to end was 2 hrs I think. He had no pain or discomfort afterwards. Just had to rest for a few days. He was 72 at the time. He had no other health problems. His PCP did say he should have just had it removed.
My interest is how big was the procedure,ie painful,time wise and how was the recovery after it and what the success were from either Laser,or Microwave TUMT. More interested in those who had actually experienced it.Thanks for your input as well>

Our only direct involvement is that our GP is quite cynical about a lot of prostate treatments, and says that the minor slow growing problems are hyped-up commercially by urologists. Perhaps a second opinion?
Our minor problems responded like magic to an old fashioned Penile Ring, available on Ebay at $10 for 3.
