My 85-year-old mother in stage 5 dementia gets angry when she forgets things. Is this normal?

There is nothing normal in dementia. When the brain is falling apart, the ability to think, to reason, to communicate, to remember, to get oriented, to act properly, to control primitive impulses is lost. However, every case is different.
