Just holding the wipe in your hands for a minute takes the 'edge' off. I know Adult wipes are considerably bigger than baby wipes--but I would just fold it in half and let my warm hands do the work.
My daughters ALL had baby wipe warmers and they ALL tossed them. Just not worth it, they said.
I assume they come folded, like all wipes? Or is that the folded size? I bought a Prince Lionhearts Ultimate Wipe Warmer ten years ago for my grandmother's care. It was roomy and could've accommodated a larger pack of wipes. I checked, and it's still sold on Amazon. If 8x12 is the stack size, you'd need a specialty warmer. A few seconds in the microwave would work if you can't find a warmer.
