My Husband was 6'4" and the Extra Long hospital bed was alright He was even more comfortable when Hospice switched him to an Alternating Pressure bed and I think they ordered it Bariatric because it was much wider than the previous Hospital bed.
Just a thought for you I think any Bariatric bed would give more room that he could lay at more of an angle if need be.
I had to order one special for my daddy also, I put a pillow at the end of the bed because when the patient slides down they can hit their feet on the end of the bed.
You may need to go to a durable equipment store and order an XL one if they are made. The average twin is 39x75 inches. An XL mattress is 80 inches. The frame of the bed will have to fit the mattress. If you ever need one, there are also wheelchairs for tall people and wide people.
