Ahh the annual question that usually pops up in December, usually word for word and we usually give the same answers. Well I got an answer from my urogynocologist when I asked this hypothetical question. There would be great concern if there is an intact uterus. However if you are referring to blood found by wiping with toilet paper then the answer comes from an aging vagina with fragile, chafing tissues and activity level. You still can see a gynochologist for medication hormonal cream that you inject with an applicator into the vagina. This is a high tier prescription so you may see a $40 or higher co pay.

I am not a doctor. But I am post menopause and use Estriol cream vaginally every other day. It is not very expensive, a 90 day Rx is $67 CAD, so $22.50 per month.
